This cap is made in Japan and produced by Sugar Cane from Toyo Enterprises. Body pattern is uniquely designed and inspired by WW2 The USAAF B-2 winter flying cap ( Officially called the Cap, Flying, Winter, Type B-2 ). The original leather crown fabric has been replaced by Brown's Beach Cloth fabric, New original designs are made for the modern age. This work hat has a fold up flap around the sides and back which could be worn up exposing the brushed blanket or worn down to cover the ears and the back of the neck.

Fit : Low crown profile.

Style : 4 Panel structured top military cap style

Shell : Made with 61% wool and 39% cotton blended fabric. Historically reproduction of famous Brown's Beach Cloth fabric, knitted on a raschel knitting machine. Double-face knit has salt-and-pepper shell on the exterior and a soft brushed blanket on the interior. Uniquely crafted this cloth features one single but double-faced layer. Salt & pepper wool and cotton blend fabric outside, and napped wool/cotton fabric inside. Thick, soft, tightly knit fabric is warm and comfortable.

Visor Type : Genuine cowhide visor with leather piping. Soft leather peak is trimmed with leather hide.

Closure Type : NO adjustable closure for strength and warmth.

Other details : This work hat has a fold up flap around the sides and back which could be worn up exposing the brushed blanket or worn down to cover the ears and the back of the neck. All inside seams covered with cotton HBT taping.
